Booking & Appointments

Your consultation

  • We offer comprehensive GP care and can help with most medical concerns, including acute illness, ongoing health conditions, and preventative care. Appointments are longer than standard GP appointments, allowing time to explore your concerns in detail and agree a clear plan.

  • Your appointment is designed to be focused and unhurried. We take time to understand your concerns in detail, ask relevant questions, and carry out any necessary examination.

    We will then agree a clear plan with you. This may include treatment, investigations, or referral where appropriate.

  • Yes — you are welcome to bring a friend, partner, or family member to your appointment if you wish.

  • We can arrange a professional chaperone for certain consultations with advance notice. If a chaperone is not available, we may recommend rearranging your appointment for a suitable time.

  • Yes — we can see children for a range of medical concerns. A parent or guardian should attend the appointment with them.

Clinical Care

  • Yes — we can issue private prescriptions where appropriate as part of your consultation. These can be taken to any pharmacy, where the cost of the medication is paid separately.

    Where ongoing treatment is required, this will usually be managed through ongoing care with us to ensure continuity and safe follow-up.

    If you choose to seek ongoing care through your NHS GP, this would usually require a separate NHS appointment for assessment. NHS GPs are not obliged to continue prescriptions initiated in private care and will make their own clinical decisions regarding prescribing.

  • We issue private prescriptions, which can be taken to any local pharmacy. Most pharmacies are able to dispense these promptly.

  • Yes — we can provide private referral letters as part of your consultation, allowing you to access specialist care quickly.

    We will discuss appropriate referral options with you and ensure you have the information needed to arrange your appointment. Where appropriate, we can continue to support your care alongside specialist input and coordinate ongoing management.

  • Yes — we can arrange a range of investigations, including blood tests, imaging, and other diagnostics where clinically appropriate.

Practical Information

  • Yes — you can see us at any time. We recommend that you remain registered with your NHS GP for your ongoing NHS care.

    Where you choose to use our service, we recommend that you continue your care with us for that episode, including any follow-up, to ensure continuity and safe care.

  • With your consent, we can share relevant information such as letters or results with your NHS GP. We can also provide copies directly to you, allowing you to share them with your NHS GP or other healthcare providers if you wish.

  • No — we do not have direct access to NHS records. If helpful, you are welcome to share any relevant information with us during your consultation.

    You may also request a copy of your records from your NHS GP if needed. Please note that this can take time and is subject to your GP practice’s policies.

  • Cover for GP consultations varies between insurers, so we recommend checking directly with your provider.

    You will receive an invoice for your appointment, which can be used to claim back costs if this is included in your policy. Some insurers may also cover investigations or specialist referrals.

  • We operate primarily online to keep things simple and efficient. You can contact us by email, and we aim to respond promptly.

  • Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable.
